Pastrami Sandwich

Experience the deliciousness of a Puerto Rican Pastrami Sandwich, packed with flavorful pastrami, melted cheese, and traditional condiments on a soft roll.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices rye, ciabatta or gluten-free bread
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 4 oz pastrami
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Thinly sliced onion (optional)

Directions

Spread mustard on one slice of bread, add cheese, pastrami, onions and pickles. Close sandwich and set aside. Melt butter on sandwich press or pan, place sandwich in the press or pan and turn heat down to medium low, cook until bread is crispy and golden, approximately 5 minutes.
