The Hotel has the architectonic characteristics of colonial European neoclassic architecture; this style was developed at the end of the nineteenth century. Founded in 1872, the Hotel filled the demand for the many visitors to the city of Ponce.
Hotel B�lgica has recently been restored for the enjoy of the modern day tourist looking for the traditional beauty of the last century.
