I love this site, Why? Because I love my country, my people, and my family. But I'm affraid some people has misunderstood the purpose of such creation.
Recently there has been a major problem with individuals stealing/plagerizing images, content, and other components from the "Welcome To Puerto Rico!" web site.
I understand that good work is always imitated and followed, but I consider that the individuals/entities who are stealing/plagerizing material from this site, are going too far. For a moment I contemplated closing this site, due to the increasing number of cases and aggravating circumstances. I have dedicated years to this creation. Why somebody else should profit from my work? With no regards or respect to me or my work.
Although I make Welcome to Puerto Rico! freely accessible, I don't intend to give up my rights, or anyone else's rights, to the materials appearing on this web site. We all have to recognize that the Internet allows people throughout the world to share valuable information, ideas, and creative works.
